The Pantone Colour Match Card works with your phone’s camera to measure and match coloured objects, materials and surfaces to a Pantone Colour. With the size and portability of a credit card, this unique system makes matching an inspirational colour to Pantone as easy as taking a photo – at accuracy levels approaching more expensive colour-reading devices.

Use the Pantone Card with the Pantone Connect mobile app to capture a colour, search for the best match, and save your chosen Pantone Colour to a palette for designing later in the Pantone Connect Extension for Adobe Creative Cloud.

Pantone Card Format

• Laminated paper-board card material is lightweight and durable
• Comes with a protective sleeve
• Dimensions 85mm x 55mm x 1mm (similar in size to a credit card)

• Requires download of Pantone Connect mobile app (Android and iOS) for use.
• The Pantone Card back side has a QR code to read colour measurements into Pantone Colour Matching Systems
• Requires well-lit spaces with minimal overhead glare for best results

Accuracy Rating

• Under correct conditions, returns a much more accurate colour match than traditional colour extraction from an image.
• Requires a compatible mobile device, a well-lit environment, a flat single-colour surface, and a clean camera lens for best results.
• Colour is matched and measured via dual illumination (flash &ambient)
• When measuring against a Pantone Color Reference to compare accuracy, understand that factors such as age, condition, and variation of your colour reference will impact results.
• For the most accurate colour matching, consider a spectrophotometer such as a Pantone Capsure,i1Studio, or i1Pro3 device.

Application

• For finding the best Pantone Color matches to physical coloured materials, objects, and surfaces
• Matches measured colour to all current Pantone Color Systems (PMS, FHI, CMYK, Skintone)
• Not recommended for use with Pantone TPM Metallic Shimmers, PMS Metallics, Nylon Brights, and Pantone Plastics due to the reflective and brightened nature of these colour systems
• Pantone Cards can be easily distributed to teams working outside the office, or designers requiring frequent a colour matching system while on the go
• Colours integrate into Pantone Connect mobile, web, and Adobe® Extension for palette creation and designing in Adobe® Creative Cloud® tools
